Mountains of English language resources

Mountains of resources waiting for someone with English to weed and sort them - Nov 2000
Mountains of resources waiting for someone with English to weed and sort them - Nov 2000

A borrowed classroom became the sorting and storage space for incoming resources in late Nov 2000.

This represents a third of the English language books, serials and AV resources in storage. Many were useful and valuable, but massive numbers had to be weeded as unsuitable.

Many were destined to be burned (books on how to ice skate, 1978 computers in the classroom, ABS statistics and obsolete video formats!). Others were simply not appropriate for the University.
