The temporary library in Sept 2000, weeks after work started
The temporary library in Sept 2000, weeks after work started

The temporary library was still having its windows and door replaced when work started a few weeks before the new University opened for classes.

It started with borrowed UNICEF tables, 3 INTERFET 486 computers, some donated books sent by Australian University students and 6 boxes of library resources and stationery sent from Australia.

The library had more resources than anywhere else on the University campus.
