Donated UNSW books - 6 months in a car park

Donated books after sitting six months in the CNRT compound car park - Nov 2000

17 palettes of books donated by UNSW's St George campus library sat in the car park of the CNRT headquarters until a secure place was found to store them - just as the rains started.

Twenty volunteers heaved, rolled and tossed boxes on and off a borrowed truck for 2 days, to store them 6 boxes deep in a tiny storeroom in the new UNTL building at the new University campus.
