Many individuals, groups, institutions and companies in Australia, and overseas, are keen to assist the development of the UNTL Library.

They want to know how they can help and what assistance is appropriate for the library.

There are many different ways and levels of contributing to the development of the library. These range from the simple donation of some office or library stationery to packing shipping containers; from collecting some donations from work mates to writing submissions to raise funds and resources from philanthropic bodies.

There is little capacity in East Timor to respond to unilateral offers of assistance because overworked Library and University staff are busy trying to rebuild the University with virtually no access to basic communications facilities or the many other resources we take for granted.

The Friends of the UNTL Library Group is assisting by coordinating Australian efforts to raise funds and resources for the UNTL Library. (Who We Are)

The Friends Group has established this Web site to provide information about the project, to encourage donations and support, and to keep people informed of progress and promote support activities.
